FUTURE COMMUNICATIONS ANNOUNCES 70 PERCENT REVENUE INCREASE IN PRELIMINARY THIRD QUARTER RESULTS

 DALLAS, Aug. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Future Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ-NMS: FCMI) announced today preliminary results of increased sales and profits for the nine months and third quarter ended July 31, 1993.
 Estimated revenues for the three months and third quarter increased 70 percent to $4,000,000, up from the $2,339,347 reported for the same period in 1992. Pre-tax income increased 129 percent to $2,000,000, up from $874,000 last year. Net income increased 165 percent to $1,530,000, or $.50 per share, up from $576,751, or $.23 per share, reported in 1992. Weighted average shares outstanding in 1993 and 1992 were 3,065,475 and 2,537,654, respectively.
 Estimated revenues for the nine months increased 64 percent to $9,000,000, up from the $5,492,243 reported for the same period in 1992. Pre-tax income increased 56 percent to $3,300,000, up from $2,115,000 last year. Net income increased 41 percent to $2,000,000, or $.72 per share, up from $1,419,734, or $.60 per share, reported in 1992. Weighted average shares outstanding in 1993 and 1992 were 3,065,475 and 2,353,770, respectively.
