FURY AT DOME BOSS' pounds 500,000.

A Fat cat row erupted yesterday after it was revealed that the Millennium Dome's new boss will be paid more than pounds 500,000.

Jennie Page will pocket pounds 150,000 a year for overseeing the controversial project for the next three years.

The former head of the Millennium Commission will also get a pounds 67,500 pension contribution and a pounds 45,500 bonus if the dome opens on time.

Lib Dem MP Simon Hughes said last night: "This obscene fat cat package is a disgraceful waste of lottery payers' money." The pay package was agreed between Labour and the Tories during the election campaign.
