FUND-RAISERS AT MCDONALD'S TO BENEFIT SCHOOLS.

Byline: Allison Meadows Staff Writer

Operators of McDonald's restaurants in Southern California are hosting fund-raisers for a number of schools in the San Fernando Valley in a program called ``McTeacher's Night'' on various nights from March 17 through March 27.

Principals and approximately 10 teachers from private and public schools will work at their local McDonald's from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the various dates.

``Education is a priority for Southern California McDonald's restaurants, and we applaud the thousands of educators who will be participating in McTeacher's Night to raise funds for their students,'' said Neal Ruby, President of McDonald's Operators' Association of Southern California (MOASC), which is sponsoring the fund-raiser.
