FSCT plans continue for ICE 2006 in New Orleans.

The FSCT joins with the rest of the nation in offering its thoughts and prayers to those families and businesses affected by the disaster in the Gulf region. Our concern is especially directed to our members and friends in the Southern Society living and working in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama, as well as to the faculty and students at the University of Southern Mississippi, in Hattiesburg.

We urge everyone to contribute generously to aid and assist the recovery efforts on the Gulf Coast. The City of New Orleans is unique for its history and culture and we are confident that the fabric and spirit of the city will remain strong and intact throughout this difficult recovery period.

The FSCT currently plans to hold ICE 2006 in New Orleans on November 1-3. As our plans develop we will continue to monitor the situation and will be in close communication with the New Orleans meetings and convention officials. Information on exhibiting at ICE is available and we ask the supplier community to show its support for the area's rebuilding efforts by exhibiting.
