FSCT issues call for papers for 2007 FutureCoat!
Held in conjunction with the International Coatings Expo, FutureCoat! will focus on the theme of "Clean--Lean--Green: Innovative Solutions for the Global Coatings Community." Sessions will provide industry leaders with the most up-to-date technical work geared towards providing a cleaner, safer, and sustainable coatings environment for the future.
The FutureCoat! Program Committee is soliciting presentations in the following areas:

Information for Speakers
Those interested are requested to provide a 200-word (maximum) abstract by February 1, 2007, along with contact information (author name(s), company, address, phone, fax, and email address) to: Jennifer Majchrzak, FSCT, 492 Norristown Rd., Blue Bell, PA 19422-2350; email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Subsequent to abstracts being accepted, presenters will be required to submit a paper for publication in the FutureCoat! proceedings by August 17, 2007.
Each presenter is required to register for the FutureCoat! program. Speakers will receive a complimentary registration for the day they speak. A discount will also be available for full registration.
All abstracts will be reviewed by the FutureCoat! Program Committee. Abstracts will be evaluated for originality, quality, and relevance to the coatings industry. Papers should be of high scientific and technical standard, and content should not be promotional or commercial in character.
John A. Gordon Best Paper Award
The John A. Gordon Best Paper Award, commemorating the many contributions that noted educator John Gordon made to the coatings profession, will be presented for the best paper contributed to FutureCoat!
Authors of the winning paper will receive a total of $1,000 cash award and an inscribed certificate. Papers will be judged based on:
* Technical merit, including objectivity and experimental design.
* Relevance to coatings technology and its impact on the industry.
Authors who wish their papers to be considered for the John A. Gordon Best Paper Award must submit their completed papers by May 1, 2007. Letters of intent and abstract should be received by February 1, 2007.
