FSCT 2007 FutureCoat! Conference to feature record number of presentations.

Drawing on the international theme of "Clean--Lean--Green: Innovative Solutions for the Global Coatings Community," the FSCT has received a record number of submissions for its renowned technical program--FutureCoat! Over 100 presentations will be offered at the conference, which is scheduled for October 3-5, in conjunction with ICE 2007. To be held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, in Toronto, Ont., Canada, FutureCoat! will explore the most innovative methodologies and applications shaping the future of environmentally friendly coatings.

Under the planning of the 2007 FutureCoat! Committee, the intense three-day program will feature highly focused multiple tracks. Highlights include the Keynote Address by John C. Warner, the Director of the Center for Green Chemistry at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, and the Technical Focus Lecture, to be presented by Rigoberto Advincula, Associate Professor at the University of Houston. The prestigious Mattiello Memorial Lecture will be given by Gordon P. Bierwagen, Professor, Department of Coatings and Polymeric Materials, North Dakota State University. Also, offered for the first time at FutureCoat! will be a Mattiello Symposium focusing on key areas of Prof. Bierwagen's work.

Advance registration for FutureCoat! is $295 for FSCT members; $495 for nonmembers. Discounted registration prices will be in effect through September 19, 2007. After the date, the rates will be increased $100.

Registration includes admittance to three days of FutureCoat! programming, 2007 Proceedings on CD-ROM, full admittance to the ICE Expo, and an ICE 2007 conference bag.

Registration for ICE events will be open in late May.

General Information

ICE 2007 combines a variety of educational programs with the largest North American exhibit of raw materials, equipment, and services for the coatings manufacturing industry. FutureCoat! will enhance the value of this event with its emphasis on cutting-edge infromation presented by internationally recognized experts.
