FRESH LINE OF INQUIRY.

A MAN who called police to brag that he couldn't be caught was arrested - while he was still on the phone.

Michael LaRock, 22, was captured in Georgia after a year on the run from burglary charges.

He called Ticonderoga police in New York state and bragged that he would never be caught, but a caller ID system tracked the call to Auburn, Georgia.

'I heard the doorbell ring on his end of the phone,' said Ticonderoga police officer Daniel Charlton. 'I could hear someone get up to answer it. It was the police.'
