 FREE PROGRAM ABOUT EATING DISORDERS AWARENESS
 COCONUT CREEK, Fla., Jan. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- A special program, free


to the public, titled "Women Through the Looking Glass -- Media Images, Self Esteem, and Weight," is being offered by The Renfrew Center on Tuesday, Feb. 4, 7 to 8:30 p.m., at The Renfrew Center, 7700 Renfrew Lane, Coconut Creek.
 The program includes a video program highlighting women's images in advertising, a poster presentation on a history of fat in fashion, and a panel discussion on dieting and body image.
 The program is being held in honor of Eating Disorders Awareness Week (EDAW), Feb. 2-8, during which activities will take place across the country in order to enhance public awareness of eating disorders and to challenge cultural attitudes and values which contribute to them.
 The Renfrew Center, which is the country's first residential treatment facility for women with eating disorders, has successfully treated more than 2,000 women for anorexia, bulimia and compulsive overeating.
