PHILADELPHIA, March 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Area residents who need legal advice about their taxes can receive it at no charge by calling LegalLine P.M., from 5 to 8 p.m., on Wednesday, March 17, and Wednesday, April 7, for free and confidential legal information over the phone. By calling 215-238-1701, residents can talk to a volunteer attorney from the Philadelphia Bar Association who is knowledgeable about tax laws.
Residents can also ask about other legal topics, including landlord/tenant law, family law, employment law and wills.
LegaILine P.M., sponsored by the Philadelphia Bar Association's Young Lawyers Section, is a public service program designed to provide quick and accurate legal advice to the Philadelphia community. It is held from 5 to 8 p.m. on the first and third Wednesday of each month.
