FREE Kids go at Ironbridge.

THE ten Ironbridge Gorge Museums, Shropshire, are offering a choice of fun activities for families during the school half - term between October 20-28.

And we've got a childgoes free admission offer.

At Jack field Tile Museum there will be spooky themed creative workshops with Halloween in mind from October 22-26 when visitors can decorate tiles with witches and ghosts to take home after firing.

Visitors to Coalport China Museum between October 20-26 can join celebrations to mark the Hindu festival of Dasehra. There will be story-telling with tales from the Ramayana over the weekend plus themed craft workshops.

Over at the Enginuity design and technology centre, Coalbrookdale, families can join 'Op- Tricks' drop-in workshops (October 20-28) to see how the eye can trick the brain and try their hand at building some optical illusion toys.

The museums are open daily 10am - 5pm. Half-term activities vary from day-to-day and some carry an extra charge. Call to check what's on before travelling.

An Annual Passport, which allows unlimited daytime admission to all ten Ironbridge Gorge Museums costs pounds 14 per adult; pounds 12.50 for seniors; pounds 9.50 for students and children up to 18 years and in full time education; pounds 46 per family (two adults, three children); under-5s free. Individual admission is also available into each museum.
