FRANKLIN PROPERTIES, INC. LISTS THREE REAL ESTATE FUNDS ON THE AMEX

 NEW YORK, Jan. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Stock Exchange today began trading the shares of series A common stock of Franklin Real Estate Income Fund, Franklin Advantage Real Estate Income Fund and Franklin Select Real Estate Income Fund.
 Franklin Real Estate Income Fund (symbol: FIN), opened at 6-1/4 on 2,800 shares. This fund consists of 4 million shares of series A common stock.
 Franklin Advantage Real Estate Income Fund (symbol: FAD), opened on a quotation of 8-3/8 (bid) to 8-5/8 (ask). This fund consists of 3,013,910 shares of series A common stock.
 Franklin Select Real Estate Income Fund (symbol: FSN), opened on a quotation of 5-3/8 (bid) to 5-5/8 (ask). This fund consists of 5,383,767 shares of series A common stock.
 Spear, Leeds & Kellogg has been selected as the specialist firm for the three Funds.
 Each fund is a real estate investment trust (REIT) managed by the San Mateo, Calif.-based Franklin Properties, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Franklin Resources, Inc., whose primary business is the Franklin/Templeton Group of Funds. The funds were formed to acquire and manage a diversified portfolio of income producing real estate properties.
 The American Stock Exchange, the nation's second largest stock exchange, is the only primary marketplace for both stocks and derivative securities in the United States.
