FRANKLIN DATACOM ANNOUNCES A FOUR-PORT 56 KBPS ACCESS SOLUTION

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif., June 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Franklin Datacom today announced the introduction of its new product line, the Q-nector series, which provides users with up to four ports of combined voice and data access to one 56 Kbps line. The Q-nector can be configured to support several different physical interfaces, such as Ground/Loop Start and E & M voice signaling, as well as RS-232 data to provide users with the optimum amount of flexibility and connectivity options.
Peter S. Buswell, executive vice president, stated that, "The introduction of the Q-nector product line is one of the many steps Franklin has recently taken to reposition the company as a total WAN access system solution provider. Because our customer's access needs are continuously evolving, we have taken a long hard look at the many WAN technologies available in today's marketplace. We have decided to build on our solid experience and know-how in the X.25 arena by expanding our product offerings into several of the other WAN technologies now available.
Micheal S. Parkhurst, a member of Franklin's Technical Support team, said, "The Q-nector series will provide our customers with two channels of voice and two channels of data over the same 56 Kbps line with just four simple plug-in connections. The Q-nector series is easy to install and simple to use."
Franklin is a developer and manufacturer of communications hardware and software. Franklin has sales offices in California, New York, New Jersey and Switzerland.
