FRANK SCHNEIDER PROMOTED TO GROUP VICE PRESIDENT AT SHARP'S CAMAS OPERATION

 MAHWAH, N.J., April 26 /PRNewswire/ -- S. Hirooka, chairman of Sharp Electronics Corp., announced the promotion of Frank Schneider. Schneider becomes group vice president for Sharp's Microelectronics Group in Camas, Wash., where he will direct marketing and sales of integrated circuits, displays, optoelectronics and RF components. Schneider joined Sharp in 1991.
