FRANK P. STANEK IS NAMED PRESIDENT, MCA ENTERPRISES INTERNATIONAL

 UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif., Feb. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Frank P. Stanek has been named president, MCA Enterprises International, it was announced today by Charles S. Paul, executive vice president of MCA INC. and president of MCA Enterprises.
 Stanek, who has held the position of executive vice president since 1988, will continue his current responsibilities directing the development and expansion of new international business opportunities for MCA INC. He also serves as a member of the board of directors of MCA Japan Ltd.
 Said Paul: "Frank's well-deserved appointment is a result of his continued top performance in his field. His years of experience in international business and his expertise in planning, development, implementation and administration have served our company well. He has a great working partnership with the MCA Recreation Services Group and we look forward to the further development of plans for the Universal Studios Europe and Universal Studios Japan projects under his strategic guidance."
 Stanek formerly served as vice president, Corporate Planning for The Walt Disney Co. During his 25 years with that organization, he was actively involved in all aspects of new business and project development for the company, including Walt Disney World & Epcot Center in Orlando, Fla., and Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif. He was responsible for the planning, development and implementation of Tokyo Disneyland and spearheaded the strategy development and site location of Euro Disney.
 Stanek is active in the Urban Land Institute, serves on the board of advisors for the Hollywood Entertainment Museum and resides with his wife, Irene, in Calabasas, Calif.
