FRAGRANCE FOUNDATION AND CAPITAL EVENTS TEAM UP FOR SYMPOSIUM.

* The Fragrance Foundation and Paris-based strategic planning agency, Capital Events, are coordinating the 2002 Global Symposium, "Well-Being, Aroma-cology and the Future of Fragrance," scheduled for Oct. 16 and 17, 2002 in Paris. A welcome dinner will be held on Oct. 16 at the Hotel Intercontinental. The full-day symposium is set for Oct. 17 at the L'Empire, which will be limited to 500 industry leaders. Panel topics include: the mind, body, fragrance connection; marketing societal trends; sensory success stories and sensory visionaries in the corporate culture. Michele Meyer, a Paris-based industry consultant, will be The Fragrance Foundation's European liaison, while Dorothy Foster, president of DFC International, is the U.S. liaison.

The Global Symposium organizing committee includes The Fragrance Foundation, Sense of Smell Institute, Federation des Industries de la Parfumerie, Cosmetic Toiletry & Fragrance Association, Dragoco, Firmenich, Givaudan, International Flavors & Fragrances and Quest International.
