 FPL CONDUCTS MAINTENANCE AND TESTING ON TURKEY POINT SIREN SYSTEM
 MIAMI, Fla., June 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Florida Power & Light Company will conduct maintenance and testing on the emergency siren system for the Turkey Point nuclear power plant. The testing will occur on Wednesday and Thursday July 1 and 2, 1992, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
 During the testing period, the sirens will sound a tone followed by a voice message stating "this is a test." FPL periodically conducts maintenance and testing on the siren system to ensure operability.
 FPL would also like to assure residents living near Turkey Point that there is no emergency occurring at the nuclear plant. Any questions regarding the testing should be directed to FPL's Corporate Communications Department at 305-552-3894 or 305-552-3895.
