FOUNDATION HEALTH FILES WITH SEC TO ISSUE $125 MILLION IN SENIOR NOTES

 RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif., April 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Foundation Health Corp. (NYSE: FH) announced today that it has filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) a registration statement relating to the public issuance of Senior Notes due 2003 with a principal amount of $125 million, which will be underwritten by Salomon Brothers Inc. Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette Securities Corp. and Morgan Stanley & Co. Inc.
 Foundation is a leading managed health care company serving industry and government. Through its health maintenance organization, specialty services and government-contracting subsidiaries, the company administers a variety of health benefits for more than 3 million eligible individuals.
