CAVAN GAELS made the most of their good Fortune to devastate Derrygonnelly and reach the Ulster club final for the first time g in 40 years. In the sixth minute of injury time, Barry Fortune (right) tapped home to book their place in Sunday's decider against holders Slaughtneil.

Derrygonnelly leaked poor goals under a barrage of high balls - Paul O'Connor r grabbed a hat-trick with Seanie Johnston hitting another.

Cavan led by six points, 4-5 to 1-8, early in the second-half but Conal Jones' piledriver helped ignite Derrygonnelly.

Ryan Jones unleashed a monster point from 50m in the mon third minute of stoppage time to put Derrygonnelly in front but Cavan Gaels found a way.

O'Connor's aerial threat was a huge factor and at the death he broke a high ball into Fortune's path and he had an easy finish as Gaels became the first Cavan side to make the final since 1995.
