 Fairgoers Challenge Heiden On Opening Day
 WHAT: The Olympics aren't only in Barcelona this year. The Wisconsin State Fair will have its own Olympics -- the Coca-Cola Recycling Olympics -- featuring one of Wisconsin's most famous Olympians -- Beth Heiden. Heiden will participate in fun, competitive recycling races with local celebrities and young fairgoers. Heiden also will be available to sign autographs.
 WHO: Multi-talented Heiden, a native of Madison, Wis., was an Olympic Speed Skating Medalist in the 1980 Olympics, the 1979 World Speed Skating Champion, the 1981 World Cycling Champion and the 1983 Cross-Country Skiing Champion.

 Main Street -- in front of Administrative Building
 WHEN: Thursday, Aug. 6, 1992
 Heiden will take part in the Coca-Cola Recycling Olympics from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., immediately following the State Fair Opening Ceremonies. The Recycling Olympics run from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
 NOTE: Heiden will be available for interviews Aug. 6 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
 OTHER DETAILS: The Coca-Cola Recycling Olympics is an annual fundraising event for the Child Abuse Protection (CAP) Fund. For $1, fairgoers can participate in humorous, entertaining competitions, such as:
 -- Can crushing
 -- 2-liter bottle tosses
 -- Power squirt gun bottle fill-up
