FORMER VICE PRESIDENT AND GENERAL MANAGER OF A BOSTON COMPANY SENTENCED ON CONSPIRACY AND EMBEZZLEMENT

 BOSTON, Nov. 30 ~PRNewswire~ -- The former vice president and general manager of a Boston company which administered health plans in Boston was sentenced in Federal Court today.
 U.S. Attorney A. John Pappalardo announced that Anne B. Dunlop, 43 of 19 Oliver St. in Framingham, Mass., was sentenced to five years probation on charges of conspiracy, mail fraud, and embezzlement of ERISA plan assets. Dunlop had previously pleaded guilty in connection with schemes to defraud health insurance benefit trusts operating in Massachusetts to provide medical benefits to thousands of East Coast workers and their families.
 Dunlop was the vice president and general manager of Harbor Medical Administrators, Inc., with corporate offices at 61 Chatham St., Boston. Harbor was the administrator of OMNI Trust, a self-insured group health arrangement providing health care benefits to more than 800 employers, their employees and dependants. Harbor was also the administrator for the AEBT Trust, providing benefits for participating members of the Massachusetts State Automobile Dealers Association.
 Two additional former Harbor officers, President Richard L. Rowe, and Executive Vice President Philip W. Carpenter, have already been sentenced to six and four year prison terms, respectively, in the case.
 The investigation, which is continuing, has been conducted by the United States Department of Labor's Office of Labor Racketeering. The cases have been prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Victor A. Wild of Pappalardo's Economic Crimes Unit.
