FORMER U.S. REP. VIN WEBER ELECTED TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF BHC COMMUNICATIONS, INC.
NEW YORK, Sept. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- BHC Communications, Inc. (AMEX: BHC), today announced that its board of directors has elected Vin Weber, the former Republican U.S. representative from the Second District in Minnesota, to serve as a director of the company. Mr. Weber is currently the president of the Weber Group, Inc., based in Washington, which provides strategic advice to businesses interested in the governmental processes of the legislative and executive branches. In addition, Mr. Weber established a non-profit organization, Empower America, with former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Jack Kemp; former drug czar and Education Secretary William Bennett; former Ambassador Jeane Kirkpatrick; Massachusetts Gov. Bill Weld, and others to advocate policies that emphasize individual responsibility and accountability in approaching the problems of the economy, social welfare and education. Mr. Weber, age 41, was first elected to represent Minnesota's Second District in the U.S. House of Representatives in 1980, and continued to do so until he announced his retirement in the spring of 1992. Mr. Weber served on the House Appropriations Committee for six years. Herbert J.
