FORMER TOP CBS EXECUTIVE PETER BARKER NAMED CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
 FOR AMERICAN TRANSPORTATION TELEVISION NETWORK
 NEW YORK, Sept. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- It was announced today by Steve Cohen, chairman and chief executive officer of American Transportation Television Network (ATTN) (NASDAQ: ATTNF) the former top CBS financial executive William G. (Pete) Barker, Jr., has been named chief financial officer of ATTN.
 In making the announcement, Cohen said, "Someone of Pete's stature joining a venture of this type only underlines the level of commitment that ATTN has to the project. Pete has spent a career overseeing the development of broadcast properties and feels that a network that relies on new technologies is an important step for the communications industry," said Cohen.
 Barker joins ATTN after a distinguished career of more than 20 years at CBS, Inc. From 1982 to 1991, Barker was the chief financial officer for the CBS/Fox Company, the entertainment-based partnership in home video and studio operations. From 1976 to 1982, he was vice president, finance and planning, for the CBS-owned television stations. Prior to that, he was vice president, development, for the Columbia Group -- the four divisions of CBS that included records, toys, stereo/record stores and musical instruments. From 1971 to 1974, he served as vice president, corporate planning, for CBS, Inc. From 1962 to 1971, Barker held a number of positions for Sunray DX Oil. He served as a consultant for McKinsey & Company from 1959-62 and served in the U.S. Army (Finance Corps) from 1956-59. He began his career in finance as an auditor for Price Waterhouse & Co. in 1956. Barker received an A.B. degree and an M.B.A. degree from Dartmouth College and the Amos Tuck School of Business, respectively.
 American Transportation Television Network provides a formatted television network to truckstops nationwide and provides the country's 3.5 million truckers who stop to refuel access via satellite to television sports, news, weather conditions and advertisements.
