FORMER DREXEL BURNHAM VICE CHAIRMAN NAMED TO BOARD OF AUDIO TECHNOLOGY FIRM

 NEW YORK, Jan. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Technology Base, Inc., developers and marketers of a new line of virtual audio products for use by audio professionals and consumers, has elected Archie E. Albright to its Board of Directors.
 Mr. Albright, who has vast experience in finance and as an advisor to Fortune 500 companies, served as Vice Chairman of the Board and Chairman of the Finance Committee for Drexel Burnham Lambert, Inc. and Chairman of Drexel Firestone. He resigned from Drexel Burnham in 1977 to become Chairman of GVC Corporation.
 Prior to accepting the positions with Drexel, he was a Senior Advisor to Loeb Rhoades and a General Partner of Kuhn Loeb. Mr. Albright also served as President and CEO of the Foreign Policy Association (from 1983-1987); Special Advisor to the First National Bank of Chicago (1987-1988); President and CEO of International Process Systems, Inc. (1988-1991); and Advisor to Wheelabrator Technologies, Inc. (1992-1993).
 Mr. Albright, who is currently Chairman of the Trenwith Group, investment bankers based in Newport Beach, Calif., will advise Technology Base, Inc. on financial and corporate matters. He will also facilitate the establishment of strategic alliances with Fortune 500 companies seeking to exploit the "enabling technologies" under the company's control. These technologies impact CD-ROM, Interactive Video, Virtual Reality, HDTV and Home Shopping applications, among others.
 Mr. Albright, who is widely known in the corporate and financial communities, has served on the boards of several major companies, including Grumman Corporation, Rubberoid Corporation, Stauffer Chemical Company, P.R. Mallory & Company, Michigan Gas Utilities, Bowmar Instruments, Leybold-Heraeus, Inc., Anderson Development Corp. and Diagnostic Retrieval Systems.
 He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Advisory Council of John Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. A Woodrow Wilson Senior Fellow, Mr. Albright is a Director of the National Association of Corporate Directors and a member of the Bar Association of New York City.
 He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Wittenberg University and received his law degree from Yale Law School.
