FORMER BUSKER GAVIN KEEPS GOOD COMPANY.
THE Dublin singer songwriter has stormed the music industry since his first single 'Say Hello' won the Meteor Choice Award for song of the year in 2013.
The now 26-year-old soon went on to get signed by Sony in Europe and Capitol Records in the US in 2015, also opening for A-list singers Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith, as well as Kodaline and Tori Kelly.
James' debut album 'Bitter Pill' was awarded a Platinum certificate for sales in Ireland, and his A-list credentials took a further climb when he appeared on James Corden's Late Late Show and then the Jimmy Kimmel talk show in late 2015.
The singer then bagged the Breaking Artist Award at the Music Business Worldwide A&R Awards in 2016.
In the 20 months since Bitter Pill was released, the former busker's life has been transformed - selling more than two million singles around the world and totting up more than half a billion streams on Spotify.
Hugely popular, James was the only Irish star to perform at Coachella in California in April before heading to Brazil.
For now, the singer is touring Europe right through June and will stay on the move til August. His latest single, Always, is out now.
