FORD VEHICLE SALES CONTINUE TO INCREASE IN FLORIDA

 ORLANDO, Fla., Nov. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Judging by October sales, the 1994-model year is off on a positive note for Ford Motor Company (NYSE: F) dealers in Florida.
 October retail car sales were up 4 percent and retail trucks were up 17 percent in Ford Division's Orlando Region.
 There are approximately 130 Ford dealers in the region which covers all of Florida and parts of Georgia and Alabama.
 "From January through October, Ford car sales in the region increased 30 percent for cars and 29 percent for trucks, over the January through October period last year," said Mack Ratchford, manager for Ford Division's Orlando Region.
 Sales leaders for October included Ford Escort (up 75 percent); Ford Thunderbird (up 49 percent) and Ranger pickup with sales up 95 percent.
