 PLANT EXPANSION AND HIRING

 WHERE: Ford Motor Company's Kentucky Truck Plant on
 Chamberlain Lane. Meet in lobby.
 WHEN: 9:30 a.m., Monday, July 27 -- Briefing in Pilot
 (conference) Room. Followed by opportunity to learn
 reaction of employees building trucks in the plant.
 10:30 a.m. -- Formal news conference, followed by a
 related photo-oriented event outside on the plant
 grounds.
 WHAT: News event announcing Ford's decision on proposed
 plant expansion and hiring.
 WHO: Brereton Jones, Kentucky governor; Judge David
 Armstrong, Jefferson County; Jerry Abramson,
 Louisville mayor; Edward Hagenlocker, Ford vice
 president - operations, North American Automotive
 Operations; George Kormanis, plant manager; Will
 Burden, president, UAW Local 862 and representatives
 of the stars of the show, plant employees!
 INFO: Last April 13, Ford announced a plan to expand the
 plant and hire 1,400 to build trucks, production of
 which would be moved there from other Ford plants.
 The plan required support from partners including
 government and labor. Monday, officials will
 announce the outcome of work to try to make it all
 happen.
