 FORD MAKES ASSEMBLY APPOINTMENTS
 DEARBORN, Mich., April 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Frank N. Foley has been


named manager of Ford Motor Company's (NYSE: F) Michigan Truck Assembly Plant, succeeding Peter M. Angelini, who becomes a planning manager, Assembly Operations, Body and Assembly Operations. James D. Hill has been appointed assistant manager of Ford's Wixom (Mich.) Assembly Plant, replacing Foley.
 Foley, 48, joined Ford in 1963 as an hourly employee at the Wayne (Mich.) Assembly Plant. In 1964, he was named a body inspector, and five years later became a quality control analyst at the Michigan Truck Plant.
 Foley held a variety of supervisory and managerial positions before becoming assistant manager at the Wayne Assembly Plant in 1990. He was named assistant manager at the Wixom Plant in January.
 Foley holds a bachelor's degree in industrial management from Union Institute.
 Angelini, 49, joined Ford in 1966 as an administrative clerk at the Michigan Truck Plant. After serving in a variety of managerial positions, he became assistant manager at the St. Thomas (Ontario, Canada) Assembly Plant in 1987, and later was named to the same post at the Lorain (Ohio) Assembly Plant. Angelini was named plant manager at Michigan Truck in 1989.
 Angelini holds a bachelor's degree in English from Boston College.
 Hill, who joined Ford in 1965 as a foreman at the Michigan Truck Plant, was previously assistant manager - passenger vehicles, at the Lorain Assembly Plant, a position he attained in 1990.
 After holding a variety of supervisory and managerial positions, Hill was named assembly operations manager at the St. Louis Assembly Plant in 1982 and commercial operations manager at the Ohio Truck Plant in 1987.
 Hill holds a bachelor's degree in public relations from Youngstown University.
