 FORD ANNOUNCES SERVICE ACTION
DEARBORN, Mich., Aug. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- The following statement may

be attributed to John P. King, Parts and Service Engineering Office manager, Ford Parts and Service Division:
Ford Motor Company (NYSE: F) is voluntarily recalling approximately 725 1991-92 model year Capri vehicles to replace the driver side air bag module. During supplier testing, the modules were found to be defective. If the air bag malfunctions during deployment, the air bag material may tear at the mounting base. This could result in less than the intended level of driver protection.
Owners will be notified by mail and asked to return the vehicles to their dealers for replacement of the air bag module.
