FOOTY SIGN SPELLING OWN GOAL.

FOOTBALL fans have called foul over a Welsh spelling mistake on this sign pointing them to a "pel droid" rather than pel-droed car park.

The blunder was spotted by Wrexham AFC fan Steff Tomos as he made his way to a match at the club's Racecourse Ground.

Mr Tomos posted a photograph of the blunder on website Arwyddion Cymraeg Gwael (Poor Welsh Signs) with the comment: "Pel-droed robotaidd yn Wrecsam heddiw! (Robotic football in Wrexham today!" The sign belonged to Wrexham Supporters Association, who man the car park and collect fees on match days, which are shared with Glyndwr University.

Kevin Hughes, from the association, apologised for the blunder and said: "We will get the signs corrected as soon as possible."
