FOOTBALL: Shuggie shops at Iceland.

Byline: DAVID McCARTHY

THERE'S precious little Atli Edvaldsson doesn't know about Scottish football but anything that does slip his mind will be hammered back into it by his big brother.

Iceland's manager will rely heavily on information from his older brother Johannes, known to Celtic fans as "Big Shuggie" during his spell at Parkhead in the 1970s.

Edvaldsson still lives in Glasgow and Atli said: "I am delighted with the draw and I've already had 16 calls on my mobile phone - all of them will be from Johannes but I've not answered them yet.

"Through him I have followed Scottish football since 1974 and I love it. I've been to Parkhead, Ibrox and Pittodrie to see games and I managed KR Reykjavik at Kilmarnock.

"I was in our team which lost 1-0 to Scotland in Reykjavik in 1985. Maybe the game is best remembered for a tackle by Graeme Souness on Siggi Jonsson. He was a very tough player."
