GEORGE BURLEY'S Ipswich yesterday suffered another major blow in their battle to beat the drop as they were hammered 4-0 by Bolton.

The Tractor Boys' Premiership future now looks in real danger and Burley fumed: "We made terrible errors and Bolton didn't have to work hard for their goals.

"If you defend and play like we did in the first half then you're always going to lose."

Fredi Bobic was the hero for Wanderers as they virtually secured their top flight status.

The German striker helped himself to a first-half hat-trick and Youri Djorkaeff also found the net with a 35th-minute effort.

Bolton boss Sam Allardyce said: "We're very close to safety now but still can't afford to be complacent."
