FOOTBALL: Fifers are fired up.
BARRY NICHOLSON reckons Dunfermline have plenty of incentive to defeat Hibs in tonight's Scottish Cup replay at Easter Road.
The Pars have already racked up two league wins against Bobby Williamson's side in the capital this season, crushing them 4-1 back in September before earning a 3-1 win three weeks ago with only 10 men.
However, since then the Fifers crashed to a 2-1 defeat at Motherwell and lost 3- 0 against Dundee United at Tannadice on Saturday, seriously denting their hopes of pushing for third spot in the table.
Those results had boss Jimmy Calderwood questioning his side's heart on the road but Nicholson, who earned his side a replay with the equaliser in the 1-1 draw last month, believes they won't lack fight tonight.
He said: "We were very disappointing on Saturday so the boys will have to be up for it. We've done really well at Easter Road so far this season so hopefully another good performance will put us through.
"It's a nice break away from the league and obviously we want to go as far as possible. It's a great tie for the club with Rangers in the next round so we want to get through."
