FOOTBALL: Davies double saves Drayton; WEST MIDLAND LEAGUE.

LEADERS Market Drayton twice came from a goal down to beat battling visitors Bewdley 3-2 with a late penalty winner.

Lewis Pountney and Jamie Hart twice put Bewdley in front but Tom Ward and two goals from Steve Davies settled a keenly-fought encounter.

Pelsall Villa keeper Adam Jenkins saved a penalty but still ended on the losing side at Wellington, who ran out 4-1 winners. Danny Hill and Kenny Styles both netted twice for the Herefordshire side, with Robert Keates scoring Villa's consolation goal

Tividale upset high-flying Bustleholme with a 2-1 victory, thanks to first-half strikes from Jason Hall and Wayne Aston. Chris Wattley replied. Kington Town's woes continue after a 1-0 defeat at Brierley & Hagley after Lee Lough volleyed in an Andy Webster cross with 10 minutes left.

Gornal Athletic fired in four second half goals to defeat Wolves Casuals 4-0. Steve Witton, signed from Sunday League football, headed in the opener and then won a penalty for Ashley Poutney to net on the hour. Dan Crudgington's 25-yard free-kick made it three before Witton put in Callum Martin to score.

Dudley Town were 1-0 winners at struggling Ledbury with Lee Hodgson-Bridge scoring the penalty winner on 60 minutes, while Great Wyrley claimed a 3-0 win at Ludlow with goals from Ashley Perry (15 minutes), Rob Sheffield (25) and Mark Holdcroft (88). Shawbury keeper Richard Deacon saved two penalties - the second from a retake - to earn a 1-1 home draw with Lye Town. The visitors led through Ben Store on ten minutes and after Deacon's double penalty stop with 20 minutes left Sean Humphries equalised, also from the penalty spot, ten minutes form time.

Goals from Abrahim Camara and Ben Sanderson earned Wednesfield a 2-0 win at home to Wyrley Rangers, while Goodrich drew at Heath Hayes when Ricky Baker's 87th minute goal cancelled out Warren Inskip's 60th minute opener
