FOOTBALL: ADAMS SISTERS ARE BANNED.
Adams Sport and Leisure Management, run by Sandra Rafis and Denise Whiston, were banned after the FA and Wembley Stadium won a landmark High Court temporary injunction against the company yesterday.
Wembley are now warning any other unauthorised corporate hospitality operators to be "extremely cautious" in any of their plans for the Charity Shield between Manchester United and Chelsea next Sunday, and for the final game at the old-style Wembley - England against Germany in a vital World Cup qualifier.
A spokesman said "The injunction effectively stops Adams Sport and Leisure from continuing their illegal trade in hospitality packages for Wembley matches and follows on from the undercover operation at England versus Brazil in May, which resulted in 27 corporate guests being ejected from the ground.
"By including a general admission ticket as part of a hospitality package, Adams Sport and Leisure breached the terms and conditions of sale."
Wembley Stadium and the FA will refuse to deal with the company again.
Following the hearing, the Adams sisters said: "We had not previously realised that we were acting in breach of any conditions or law and once this was drawn to our attention in the proceedings we immediately agreed not to act in this way again."
There is no evidence to suggest Tony Adams was involved, but it has proved to be an embarrassment to the England star.
