FOOD PROCESSORS' SENIOR V.P. TO TESTIFY BEFORE CONSUMER SUBCOMMITTEE
 WHAT: A hearing of the Consumer Subcommittee of the Senate
 Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation.
 Juanita Duggan, the National Food Processors
 Association's (NFPA) senior vice president,
 government affairs, will testify regarding the food
 industry's position on the need for nationally uniform
 green marketing guides.
 On Feb. 14, 1991, NFPA led a broad-based group of
 manufacturers, retailers, and other business
 organizations in petitioning the FTC to adopt
 nationally uniform guidelines for the use of
 environmental claims in advertising and other marketing
 efforts. NFPA will represent the food industry on this
 matter.
