    FMC GOLD ELECTS BRADY AS CHAIRMAN AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER;
                        DECLARES ANNUAL DIVIDEND
    CHICAGO, Nov. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- FMC Gold Company (NYSE: FGL) today announced that its board of directors has elected Larry D. Brady as chairman and chief executive officer.  He succeeds Robert N. Burt, who remains a director of the gold company.
    Directors also announced a regular annual dividend of 5 cents per share on its common stock, payable Dec. 31, 1991 to stockholders of record on Dec. 9, 1991.
    Brady, 48, continues to serve as executive vice president of FMC Corp., which holds 79 percent of FMC Gold's stock.  Headquartered at FMC offices in Chicago, Brady also supervises FMC's Agricultural Chemical, Defense Systems, Food Machinery, Petroleum Equipment and Specialized Machinery groups; as well as the corporate development, and technology, manufacturing and information resources staff departments.  Previously he was vice president, corporate development since April 1988 and was named executive vice president in September 1989.
    Brady was elected a vice president of the corporation in September 1984, and from 1983 to 1988 served as general manager of FMC's Agricultural Chemical Group, headquartered in Philadelphia.
    He joined FMC in 1978 as planning director, Special Products Group. In 1979 he was named manager, Food and Pharmaceutical Products Division and from 1981 to 1983 was manager, Citrus Machinery Division.
    Prior to joining FMC, Brady held senior management positions at TRW, Inc. and Beatrice Foods Company.
    He received a bachelor of science degree in engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy and a master of business administration degree from Harvard Business School.
    Brady serves on the board of directors of the National Association of Manufacturers.
    FMC Gold Company is a large precious metals producer, formed in 1987 through a combination of FMC Corporation's North American precious metals interests.  FMC Gold reported 1990 production of 332,000 ounces of gold and 5.5 million ounces of silver.
