 FMC ANNOUNCES $26 MILLION ENGINEERING CONTRACT
 SANTA CLARA, Calif., June 23 /PRNewswire/ -- FMC Corporation's


(NYSE: FMC) Ground Systems Division has been awarded a $26 million contract to provide engineering services to the U.S. Army's Tank Automotive Command in support of the Bradley Fighting Vehicle. The period of performance for the contract is for June 1, 1992, to May 31, 1993.
 "FMC is very pleased with this systems technical support contract award. It tells us that the U.S. Army is confident in the diverse and highly talented engineering workforce we have here in the San Jose area. The contract will provide for continuous improvement of a weapons system which has been battle-proven," said Adolph Quillici, vice president and general manager of FMC's Defense Systems Group.
 The contract includes additional options of $46 million which could be exercised by the Army if conditions are warranted. The contract includes both firm fixed price, fixed price incentive and cost plus provisions.
 FMC Corp. is one of the world's leading producers of chemicals and machinery for industry, government and agriculture.
