FM Ring completes renovation at jewelry district building.

Following on the heels of its successful renovations at 251 Park Avenue South, F.M. Ring Associates, Inc. has announced that it has installed the same new elevator cabs at its office and showroom center at 20 West 47th Street in Manhattan's jewelry district.

The work marks the completion of the building's corridor installation, according to Frank Ring, president of the full service real estate owner/management company.

The new elevator cabs at 20 West 47th Street feature carpeted walls and reflective ceiling trim with concealed lighting. The modernization is part of an ongoing multi-million dollar capital improvement program undertaken by F.M. Ring Associates to upgrade virtually its entire real estate portfolio, which comprises over a dozen Manhattan office buildings.

It has already begun the initial phase of what will be its biggest renovation at its flagship property, the 21-story, 200,000 square foot office building at 212 Fifth Avenue, at the southwest corner of 26th Street across from Madison Square Park. The planned modernization will include the restoration of the building's lobby, which will have a full-time concierge; four new elevator cabs, and a fully renovated show floor.
