 FLYTE/OSTELL WIN PRESTIGIOUS LLOYDS BANK BRITISH FASHION AWARD 1992
 IN THE CATEGORY OF BRITISH DESIGN - THE NEW GENERATION
 LONDON, Oct. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Ellis Flyte and Richard Ostell - Flyte/Ostell the innovative young design team - were awarded the coveted Lloyds Bank British Fashion Award "British Design - The New Generation" on October 12th by the U.K. Fashion Industry during the annual Lloyd's Bank British Fashion Awards. The award was presented at Australian pop star Jason Donovan, at the Grosvenor House, to the applause of 800 of Britain's most fashionable personalities - including Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Kent, the chairman of the British Fashion Council Sir Ralph Halpern, Shakira Caine, Mick Jagger, Jerry Hall, Betty Boo and Richard Branson.
 Flyte/Ostell's designer sportswear was showcased by "The New Generation of Supermodels" including Kate Moss, Lorraine Paschale and Courtenay, in a special catwalk presentation of the award nominees' collections. The proceeds from the evening were donated to the AIDS Crisis Trust. Highlights from the awards were shown on the BBC.
 In regards to winning the award, Ellis Flyte and Richard Ostell stated "We are delighted and honored to be recognized. We sincerely thank the buyers and the press in both England and the United States, who have encouraged us."
 Prior to their partnership, Ellis Flyte and Richard Ostell both enjoyed successful careers as leading British fashion designers.
 Ellis Flyte, who graduated from the London College of Fashion in 1982, worked largely with a private clientele and designed for many films, television and theatre companies. She also created clothes for a number of celebrities.
 Richard Ostell graduated from St. Martins School of Art in 1982 and quickly garnered numerous design awards and consultancies to prestigious fashion houses including a period as senior design assistant to Romeo Gigli.
 Flyte/Ostell will be showing their collection for Spring/Summer 1993 by appointment only at Durley House, London from Oct. 9 through Oct. 12, at Hotel De Crillon, Paris from Oct. 15 through Oct. 19 and at the Sherry Netherland Hotel, New York from Oct. 27 through Nov. 3.
 Currently, the Flyte Ostell Winter and Resort Collections are available at Brown's, A La Mode and Liberty in London and at Bergdorf Goodman, Dayton Hudson, Neiman Marcus and other fine stores in the United States.
