FLUOR DANIEL AWARDED GERMAN CONTRACT
FLUOR DANIEL AWARDED GERMAN CONTRACT IRVINE, Calif., Nov. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Fluor Daniel GmbH has been
awarded a contract by Huls AG, a wholly owned subsidiary of Dusseldorf, Germany-based Veba AG. The value of the contract is approximately $10 million.
Fluor Daniel's Process Sector will provide detailed engineering for a new polypropylene manufacturing line at an existing plant located at Scholven, in northwestern Germany. The scope of work includes storage, mixing, drying, sifting and packaging facilities. Engineering is under way in Fluor Daniel's Dusseldorf office with completion scheduled for late 1992. Polypropylene is used in the manufacture of automotive parts and other plastic components. Huls AG is the fifth largest chemical producer in Germany. Fluor Daniel GmbH, based in Dusseldorf, is a subsidiary of Fluor Daniel Inc., Fluor Corp.'s (NYSE: FLR) principal subsidiary.
