 FLORIDA POWER & LIGHT TO HOLD MEDIA BRIEFING
 Florida Power & Light Company will hold a media briefing at 10 a.m.


Thursday in the auditorium of FPL's headquarters, 9250 W. Flagler St., to update South Florida media on FPL's storm restoration efforts.
 FPL Group Chairman Jim Broadhead and FPL Vice Presidents Bob Marshall (electric distribution) and Bill Hamilton (residential customer service) will be available for questions and answers.
 Photo/video: Beginning at 7 a.m. Thursday morning, you are invited to send photo/video crews to the following locations in Dade County to photograph repair crews as they are dispatched to restore electric service:
 Orange Bowl Stadium
 (FPL marshalling and dispatching area in parking lot)
 1501 N.W. 3rd Street, Miami
 FPL contact: Mike Miamo
 Florida Turnpike -- Snapper Creek Plaza
 (FPL and Florida DOT heavy equipment dispatching area)
 FPL contact: Richard Skinner or Lee Wetzel
 You will be able to photograph repair crews as they stock vehicles with necessary materials/supplies and depart to their assigned work locations. The period of heaviest activity will be from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. Also, the contacts listed will be available to do brief stand up interviews as needed.
 Media interested in accompanying crews on their restoration assignments should contact FPL's corporate communications dept. at 305-552-3883.
