FLORIDA DBPR RENEWS LEASE WITH MARK CENTERS TRUST

 KINGSTON, Pa., Dec. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Mark Centers Trust (NYSE: MCT) announced today that the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation has renewed its existing lease for an additional five years at Northwood Centre, Tallahassee, Fla.
 The lease renewal is for 136,000 square feet of office space and is valued at more than $7.5 million.
 Mark Centers Trust is a fully integrated real estate investment trust which acquires, develops, renovates, owns and operates shopping center properties located in the Eastern and Southeastern United States. Mark Centers Trust currently owns, operates and manages approximately 5.9 million square feet of gross leasable area consisting of 28 neighborhood and community shopping centers, three enclosed malls and two mixed use (retail/office) properties. In addition, Mark Centers Trust currently has under development two community shopping centers: Bradford Towne Center, Towanda, Pa., and Columbia Towne Centre, Hudson, N.Y.
