 FLEET BANK, N.A., NAMES KEVIN DELAHANTY REGIONAL PRESIDENT FOR
 FAIRFIELD COUNTY
 STAMFORD, Conn., Nov. 25, /PRNewswire/ -- Robert J. Higgins, chairman and chief executive officer of Fleet Bank, N.A., today announced the appointement of Kevin B. Delahanty of New York City as regional president for Fairfield County, a new position.
 Delahanty, who will relocate to the Greenwich area, was most recently a first vice president with Security Pacific National Bank, where he was responsible for developing financial opportunities with a defined base of existing and prospective clients in the New England area. As Fleet Fairfield County president, he will have responsibility for enhancing Fleet's position in Fairfield County and Westchester County in all lines of business, with particular emphasis on commercial lending opportunities in the region. In keeping with Fleets' philosophy of community involvement, Delahanty has indicated that he plans to become actively involved in civic and community activities in the region.

 Prior to his position with Security Pacific, Delahanty was a vice president with J.P. Morgan Securities and a vice president-team leader at J.P. Morgan & Company, Inc. In the latter position, he was responsible for developing and maintaining capital market, credit and operational business for clients and prospects in Fairfield County and elsewhere in New England.
 Delahanty majored in government and economics at Bowdoin College and received an M.B.A. in finance from Rutgers Graduate School of Business Administration. His office will be located at 4 Stamford Forum, Stamford.

 Kevin B. Delahanty, 40, is regional president of Fleet Bank, N.A., for Fairfield County. His responsibilities include overseeing all lines of business for Fleet in Fairfield County and Westchester County, with particular emphasis on commercial lending opportunities in the region.
 Before joining Fleet Bank, Delahanty was a first vice president with Security Pacific National Bank, New York City, where he was responsible for developing financial opportunities for existing and prospective clients in New England, upstate New York and St. Louis. From 1980-1989, he was a vice president with J.P. Morgan Securities and a vice president-team leader for J.P. Morgan & Company Inc., where he developed and maintained the capital market, credit and operational business for clients and prospects in Fairfield County, Boston and Providence. Delahanty also served as an assistant vice president at Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company from 1976-1980.
 Delahanty is a graduate of Bowdoin College where he majored in government and economics. He holds an M.B.A. in finance from Rutgers Graduate School of Business Administration. Originally from New York City, Delahanty is relocating to Fairfield County.
