FIRSTFED MICHIGAN TO PAY 12-CENT DIVIDEND IN DECEMBER

 DETROIT, Nov. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- FirstFed Michigan Corporation (NASDAQ-NMS: FFOM) today declared a regular 12-cent quarterly cash dividend. This dividend is payable on December 13, 1993, to common stockholders of record on December 1, 1993.
 FirstFed Michigan Corporation is the holding company for First Federal of Michigan, a Detroit-based federal savings and loan association with assets of $9.5 billion.
 First Federal of Michigan has 70 offices throughout the southern lower peninsula of Michigan. Its Bay Savings Bank subsidiary, based in Newport News, Virginia, operates eight offices in Virginia and currently operates three offices in Columbia, South Carolina.
