FIRST UNITED STATES TURFGRASS RESEARCH CONFERENCE IN 20 YEARS; WORLD'S LEADING EXPERTS EXPECTED TO ATTEND

 PALM BEACH, Fla., April 26 /PRNewswire/ -- After 20 years the world's leading recal, biological and planning developments at the 7th annual Turfgrass Research Conference (ITRC) July 18-24 at the Breakers Resort in Palm Beach, Fla.
 Over 1,000 international turfgrass leaders and scientists are expected to attend the event sponsored by the International Turfgrass Society (ITS). It will showcase presentations from more than 200 participants and feature topics such as water conservation, the environmental fate of pesticides, breeding of new varieties of turf, pest management and soil fertility.
 Tours to the University of Florida's research facility, Envirotron, jointly funded by the Florida Turfgrass Association (FTGA) and the State of Florida, will be offered, as well as 7-10 day tours of the nations southeastern and west coast turf industry.
 ITRC offers complete registration packages to all ITS members. Local turfgrass professionals are encouraged to attend the event and may take advantage of daily registration fees.
