FIRST UNION NAMES MIAMI COMMUNITY PROGRAMS DIRECTOR
MIAMI, Fla., Nov. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- First Union National

Bank of Florida has named Peter W. Roulhac vice president and director of community programs for Dade County.
Roulhac will work to combine many of the programs and commitments of the former Southeast Bank with those of First Union in providing financial assistance and corporate involvement for community programs.
Roulhac also will be responsible for Community Reinvestment Act compliance, including employee participation and program development in low and moderate income communities.
"Peter brings a great deal of experience in the area of community involvement," said Carlos Migoya, Miami city president for First Union National Bank of Florida. "He has been a leader in the community, serving in such areas as chairman of the board of directors of the Urban League of Greater Miami. Peter knows the needs of the community and can help First Union focus on those areas."
Roulhac formerly served as vice president, equal opportunity and human resources policies for Southeast Bank, N.A.
Prior to that, Roulhac was president of the Private Industry Council of Dade County between 1984 and 1987. Between 1977 and 1984, Roulac was director for affirmative action programs for Ryder System Inc.
Following its combination with Southeast Bank, First Union National Bank of Florida will have approximately $20 billion in deposits, $25 billion in assets and 442 branches after consolidation.
