FIRST TEAM SPORTS ADDS NEW DIRECTOR MINNEAPOLIS, Oct. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- First Team Sports, Inc.
(NASDAQ-NMS: FTSP) recently announced the appointment of Stanley E. Hubbard II to its board of directors. Hubbard will assume the position on First Team Sports' board of directors which was vacated by Herb Brooks in July of this year.
Hubbard is currently vice president of Minneapolis/St. Paul-based Hubbard Broadcasting, Inc., which operates one AM and FM radio station, seven television stations, and other businesses including Conus Communications, All News Channel, F & F Productions, and Diamond P. Sports. In addition, he serves on the board of Junior Achievement of the Twin Cities, is president of the St. Croix Valley Youth Center, and is chairman of the board of the United States Hockey Hall of Fame located in Eveleth, Minn. First Team Sports, Inc., manufactures and distributes high quality in-line roller skates and accessories under the trademarks Ultra-Wheels and Skate Attack. The company's products are manufactured and assembled to its specifications in the United States and foreign countries.
