FIRST HAWAIIAN INC. DECLARES QUARTERLY DIVIDEND

 HONOLULU, Aug. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- The board of directors of First Hawaiian Inc. (NASDAQ: FHWN) today declared a quarterly dividend of 28 cents per share, payable Sept. 15, 1993, to stockholders of record Sept. 1, 1993. This represents no change from the previous quarter.
 First Hawaiian Inc. is a bank holding company with $7.1 billion in assets, whose principal subsidiary is First Hawaiian Bank, one of the largest banks in Hawaii. Other subsidiaries include Pioneer Federal Savings Bank, the fourth largest savings institution in Hawaii; First Hawaiian Creditcorp Inc., the state's second largest financial services loan company; and First Hawaiian Leasing Inc., which is primarily engaged in commercial equipment and vehicle leasing.
