FIRST FIDELITY BANKS TO BE 'COSTUMED FOR KIDS'
PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- When you cash your check or make a deposit at area First Fidelity banks on Oct. 28, 29 and 30, don't be surprised if your teller is Elvis, Dracula or Marge Simpson. On those days, the staff at 235 First Fidelity branches in eastern Pennsylvania and South Jersey will be "Costumed For Kids" to benefit the Children's Miracle Network (CMN) of Greater Philadelphia. Costumed First Fidelity employees will be celebrating Halloween and the medical miracles that take place every day at CMN's member pediatric hospitals -- The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Children's Seashore House, Philadelphia Child Guidance Center and St. Christopher's Hospital for Children. Canisters placed near each teller's window will encourage donations to help provide the resources to ensure that each child from the community has the availability to the best health care treatment possible, regardless of economic status. Last year, First Fidelity surpassed its $10,000 goal by raising more than $15,000 for CMN of Greater Philadelphia. One hundred percent of the funds raised locally through First Fidelity's "We're Costumed Because We Care About Kids" campaign and the CMN Telethon stay locally. /delval/ -0- 10/18/93 /NOTE TO EDITORS: Photo opportunities available.
