FIRST BANK SYSTEM LOWERS REFERENCE RATE TO 6.5 PERCENT MINNEAPOLIS, Dec. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- First Bank System, Inc.
(NYSE: FBS) today announced that it is lowering its reference rate to 6.5 percent from 7.0 percent effective Friday, Dec. 27, 1991.
First Bank also lowered the best rate on its Express Line revolving line of credit that includes a credit card to 9-1/2 percent.
